Mid August – End September..

Hi guys, I am back from Venus! Was i missed?? Yeap…Got abducted by some aliens (called school assignments and exams) and now I am set free and back to Earth.

To celebrate my freedom, here is a blog post of the events that happened in my life from mid August to the end of September for all to enjoy!

The start of my 1 week University break! The weather was pretty good today for a beach outing in Spring (warm yet cooling). Went to explore Watsons Bay (please google if you are extra interested on knowing the exact location). Anyway, reach there and the place was so beautiful (small yet breath-taking).

Really a very nice place to be there at least once! Had a great day….

Hello Sing! Sze Sing came to Sydney for a short trip with her mum and at the same time to view apartments and sign tendency agreement ready for her study that will commence in October. Was so excited because haven met her for over 1 mth and a half! Went to the airport to pick her up and be the tour guide of the few days she was here.

After went groceries shopping for dinner! The vegetables and fruits here are like 2x bigger then the ones in Singapore!

Enjoyed so much of her company… can’t wait for her to come here and study! We can hang out everyday!

Got home from school early today.. only had 2 classes which was from 9am-11am. Went to eat beef noodles with korkor (my whole family loves the beef noodles here).

MUST TRY!

I was studying whole night and did not have any sleep the night before and I sunk into bed right after lunch! Naughty kor kor went to take a photo while I was sleeping.

ZZZZzzz…

Kor kor volunteered to cook diner today!

1. Steamed chicken with shallots and ginger.
2. Beans sprout with mince beef (By me).
3. Bamboo Shoots in Chilli Oil.
4. Tang Yuan for dessert.

Had my 1st official marketing presentation in University. Turned out really bad.. feeling so low on that day.

Kor kor took me out for movie as I was feeling moody. Ate Oporto – Bondi Burger for dinner. Watched 大内密探零零狗 – On his Majesty。 It was a pretty funny show!! Good show to catch if your feeling lousy. It like those stupid shows that u will laugh your heart out!

My ear had a pimple, burst it and blood came rushing out!!!!!! But it was SHIOK SHIOK SHIOK!

It was kor kor’s birthday and we went to had hotpot at 山城火鍋王.

 

Look at the food we ordered:

1. 口水雞
2. 涼粉
3. and many other hotpot ingredients!! yummy!

hahahaha! the glasses are all in different sizes. The best recommended!! 魚子蛋 – fishball wrapped with fish egg!

After dinner, went to the night market to have a walk, bought kor kor’s birthday cake and headed home for a mini celebration. During the walk at the night market, Channey bought 龍鬚唐，we tasted it when we got home and this is how u look after eating it! UNGLAM!

Played cards and had cake!

 

Bought my brother a shirt that I thought looked really good on him! What do you guys think?

Had marketing group meeting today, thought it will be nice to pose a photo and post it to show who are my newly made friends.

Busy discussing project….

After a tiring day, went for some shopping for my brother’s present that u see above but in the end….. I bought 2 pajamas at 9 bucks each..  and 2 shirts, 7 bucks each for myself as well! I thought it was a good deal…

 

Had dinner, Channey cooked the mushrooms with mince beef and mixed vegetables and we tabao-ed duck.

It was heavenly! Just heavenly!

P.s This is what the taxi’s look like in Sydney. Don’t they look like police cars?

Went groceries shopping with korkor, and there was special on beef steak! Korkor bought them and cooked steak! The fish is compliments by my house mate, Jake (the fish can really compare with restaurant) - THANKS JAKE!

Channey recommended us to try this restaurant near her place, supposed to be fan of Chairman Mao and it turned out to be VERY VERY GOOD.

 

We ordered:

1. Kelp mixed in Chilli.
2. 4 types of pigs meat
3. Coriander Soup
4. 豬油炸
5. 手撕包菜
6. 東坡肉

BEST DISH! 手撕包菜 and 東坡肉!! 10 thumbs up!

Decided to make spaghetti for a change. Made like serving for 5, but realized korkor dun like to eat pasta… Poor Charmaine had to eat all 5 servings by herself spread over 4 days.

On addition, fried my creation – Chinese dried shitake Mushroom with meat.

SUPER!
